The Challenge

Rebelwalls, one of Sweden's premier wall mural and wallpaper brands, had outgrown their existing platform. Their product catalog featured thousands of customizable designs that could be ordered in virtually any size, with different material options—creating complex configuration logic that generic ecommerce platforms couldn't handle elegantly.

Serving customers across multiple European markets required seamless multi-currency and multi-language support, while their high-resolution product imagery needed intelligent optimization to maintain fast page loads without sacrificing visual quality critical to their luxury positioning.

The Solution

We built a bespoke ecommerce platform using Laravel and Vue.js, purpose-designed around Rebelwalls' unique product configuration requirements. The custom product configurator allows customers to specify exact dimensions, preview how murals will look on their walls, and instantly receive accurate pricing—creating an engaging shopping experience that matches the brand's creative identity.

Elasticsearch powers the product discovery experience with faceted search and visual filtering. The platform supports 8 languages and 12 currencies with automated exchange rate management, while AWS CloudFront CDN ensures fast delivery of large product images globally.
